Grose led the Maine Dems’ statewide grassroots organizing program during the 2022 campaign

On Thursday, Chair Bev Uhlenhake announced that Tim Grose has been selected as the new Executive Director of the Maine Democratic Party. He will succeed outgoing Executive Director Gaetan Davis, effective immediately.

"I am delighted to announce that Tim will serve as the new Executive Director of the Maine Democratic Party," said Maine Democratic Party Chair Bev Uhlenhake. "His passion for Democratic organizing helped us achieve a resounding electoral victory in 2022 and I’m fully confident that his leadership will help the party grow to new heights and build upon our successes in years to come."

"I am grateful to Chair Uhlenhake for the opportunity to continue fighting for a Democratic future in Maine," said incoming Executive Director Tim Grose. "We have much work ahead of us to build the organizing infrastructure needed to win in 2023, 2024, and beyond. But with our amazing, dynamic team at the Maine Dems and dedicated volunteers across the state, I couldn’t be more hopeful and excited for our party’s future."

"It’s been an amazing experience working to chart the course for our party these past two years. With Bev as Chair and Tim as Executive Director, I am fully confident the Democratic Party will be in capable hands." said outgoing Executive Director Gaetan Davis. "I wish Tim, Bev, and the rest of the party staff the absolute best."

Grose’s involvement with the Maine Democratic Party stretches back years to 2018 when he worked as a Regional Field Director, organizing in southern Maine communities. Grose later served as Operations Director on the Sara Gideon for Maine Senate campaign and as a statewide Field Director during the 2022 election season. When not fighting for our collective future, he can be found hiking in Maine’s granite mountains or paddling in white water rapids. Grose was born and raised in Biddeford, where he still lives today with his partner.
