Westbrook, MAINE – Monday, April 23rd, 2018 at 6:00 p.m., Maine Democratic Party Chairman Phil Bartlett will be joined Democratic lawmakers, candidates, and local community members to celebrate the grand opening of a new field office in Lewiston. Chairman Bartlett will deliver remarks at the event. The new office space will serve as a local hub for Democratic candidates running for office this November.
Chairman Phil Bartlett issued the following statement:
"We are thrilled to be opening an office in Lewiston at this point in the election cycle. Lewiston has deep Democratic roots, and we are ready to get work earlier than ever as we make our case to Mainers.”
The opening of the office in Lewiston demonstrates the Maine Democratic Party’s (MDP) commitment to ensuring that Democrats have a strong presence across every corner of the state. MDP is investing more money, earlier, to elect Democrats who will fight for affordable, high-quality health care; stronger schools; good, high-paying jobs; and economic opportunity that will help grow Maine’s middle-class and strengthen our economy.
