Earlier this week, in addition to reminding Mainers who he really is, Paul LePage downplayed the economic importance of abortion rights—claiming that since he is focused on fiscal issues, “I don’t have time for abortion.”
This week, the Maine Ethics Commission fined Paul LePage’s campaign $3,000 after it missed a finance report filing deadline, allegedly because the campaign manager fell asleep.
"Mills will help lead our state to a stronger, more prosperous and more diverse future. LePage would try to take us backwards, sinking our state again into needless controversy, vitriol and regressive policymaking.”
Today, the Commonwealth Fund released a report showing Maine’s health care system performed better than almost every other state in the country during the COVID-19 pandemic.
