What Scares Stephen King? Six More Years of Susan Collins

King: Susan Collins has got to go, has “been there for about a thousand years, and it’s time for somebody a little newer”

Last night, author Stephen King went on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert to warn of the horrors of another six years of Senator Susan Collins:

“Susan Collins has been there for about a thousand years, and it’s time for somebody a little newer and somebody who’s got a little bit more of a liberal bent. She claims to have a liberal bent but, really, that’s not true.”

Echoing the sentiments of other Mainers, King criticized Collins for going along with the Trump agenda, saying that “Susan Collins has buckled before the Trump idiocracy. Time for her to go.” This sentiment is in response to the fact that Collins has gone along with Trump 94% of the time, more than any other president throughout her career, and has become a “reliable vote” for her party and special interests in DC.
