Bangor, Maine - Last weekend, Democratic elected officials, Party leaders, delegates, and activists from across Maine gathered for a wildly successful State Convention in Bangor.

Attendees participated in workshops, engaged in networking and strategizing ahead of the November elections, and were energized and inspired by remarks from the featured keynote speaker, Governor Janet Mills, Representatives Chellie Pingree and Jared Golden, Senate President Troy Jackson, and Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross.

“Convention is a celebration of our collective values, and a reminder of how critical this election is to ensure that we have leaders who will stand up for Maine’s working families, protect Mainers’ freedoms to choose, and fight for the economic and environmental future of Maine for our children and future generations,” said Maine Democratic Party Chair Bev Uhlenhake. “Maine Democrats are organized, we are energized, and we’re mobilizing to deliver Democratic victories up and down the ballot this November.”
