Maine Democratic Party Chair Statement on Republicans’ Attempt to Repeal Ranked Choice Voting
Following the Maine Republican Party’s announcement that they will attempt to repeal Ranked Choice Voting ahead of the 2020 General Election, Maine Democratic Party Chair Kathleen Marra issued the following statement:
“Mainers have time and again reaffirmed their commitment to making elections fairer and more inclusive through ranked choice voting. This new attempt is nothing more than an effort to protect President Trump and reject the will of Maine voters.”
