Maine Democratic Party Responds to Court Decision on Medicaid Expansion
Westbrook, Maine - In response to Superior Court Justice Michaela Murphy’s decision that Governor LePage and his administration must implement Medicaid expansion, Maine Democratic Party Chairman Phil Bartlett issued the following statement:
“This decision is both a victory for the more than 70,000 Mainers who stand to benefit from Medicaid expansion and a sharp rebuke of Governor LePage and his senseless obstruction of the law. The people of Maine have spoken, the court has spoken, and now Governor LePage and Republicans must listen.”

Race To The Right Continues As Maine GOP Gov Candidates Unleash Attacks Ads
Westbrook, MAINE – Today, Maine’s Republican candidates for governor unleashed a torrent of attack ads on one another in a bid to prove their conservative bonda fides as they race to the extreme right to claim Paul LePage’s coveted mantle.
In radio ads posted publicly today, Republicans Mary Mayhew and Shawn Moody attacked one another as insufficiently conservative while Garrett Mason dropped a TV ad slamming them both for failing to be right-wing enough.
