Join experts Scott Kleeb and Matt Crescenzo from the Dem Vets Project for a 101 training on the military and connecting with veteran voters.
This will be an informative session with the goal of creating a deeper knowledge base about the veteran community and developing a roadmap for your county to begin planning the establishment of programs that support a Maine Democrats Veterans Council.
This event will be hosted in Brick South at Thompson’s Point
About Scott & Matt:
Scott Kleeb
The son of educators who taught military children overseas, Scott spent his formative years on an Army base in Italy, an experience that instilled a lifelong commitment to those who serve. A native Nebraskan and former ranch hand, he has been active in Democratic politics at multiple levels and has run for both the U.S. House and Senate. When he’s not helping get Democrats elected, you can find Scott exploring national parks, on the ranch, or spending time with his wife and their three kids.
Matt Crescenzo
A U.S. Army veteran who deployed to Afghanistan, Matt has dedicated much of his career to veteran advocacy, including in roles with the U.S. House of Representatives and the Department of Veterans Affairs. He has been actively involved in Democratic campaigns at the local, state, and federal level as a field director, advisor, and candidate for state office. Originally from Massachusetts, Matt now calls Maryland home. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with his partner and their Australian Cattle Dog, Bloo.
