Join the Maine Democratic Party Voter Access Team and help us build the team that protects the vote on Election Day! Whether you’re a returning volunteer or making your very first calls, we’d love to have you.
What we’re doing
We’re calling to recruit Poll Observers for the General Election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Poll Observers spend part or all of Election Day at a polling place, helping voters access the assistance they are entitled to and flagging problems to our team as they arise. Every conversation is another set of trained eyes at the polls.
No experience? No problem!
We’ll provide everything you need, including training, a calling script, and support throughout the event.
Returning volunteers are encouraged to bring a friend and help welcome our newest team members.
