Augusta, Maine — Bobby Charles launched his campaign promising to be the Maine version of Donald Trump. He told Mainers “I’m going to tell you, if you liked the first 90 days of Trump, if you liked the first two weeks of Trump, you would love the first few weeks of my administration, because we are going to flip this thing on its head.”

Charles then doubled down on the Trump and MAGA agenda, supporting Trump’s budget law, tariffs, and war in Iran, which have led to skyrocketing health care premiums, gas and diesel prices, grocery costs, and more.

Charles even went to DC to lobby for Trump’s endorsement in the governor’s race and enthusiastically accepted JD Vance’s endorsement just last month.
