Augusta, Maine – With 42 days until Election Day, the Maine Democratic Party had its biggest organizing weekend yet, knocking 14,103 doors and making 51,419 calls to voters across the state.

In a showing of Democratic unity, former candidates Dr. Nirav Shah, Jordan Wood, and Dan Kleban joined Democratic nominees, volunteers, and supporters at office openings and canvass launches across the state in support of the Democratic ticket.

Over the weekend, Democratic candidates and leaders joined volunteers at events across the state, including:

• Fryeburg: Coffee & Canvass with Matt Dunlap

• Windham: Campaign office opening with Jordan Wood

• Ellsworth: Office opening with Hannah Pingree

• Yarmouth: Canvass launch with Dr. Nirav Shah

• Belfast: Canvass launch with Hannah Pingree

• Kennebunk: Office party and canvass

• Presque Isle: Office opening with Matt Dunlap

• Freeport: Canvass launch with Dan Kleban

• Waterville: Campaign office opening with Jordan Wood
