PORTLAND — No Nonsense PAC, a pro-Bobby Charles PAC, reported an additional buy, once again splitting their funds to falsely attack Democratic candidate Hannah Pingree and boost former Maine GOP Chairman turned fake Independent, Rick Bennett.

The PAC is blatantly trying to deceive Democratic voters by falsely portraying Bennett, who was a Trump elector and Paul LePage supporter, as progressive. The latest $95,000 buy brings their total spend reported to nearly $450,000, funding both digital ads and mailers designed to manipulate Maine voters.

When asked about this PAC, Charles refused to renounce their deceitful tactics. Bennett, who previously went out of his way to comment on a Democratic PAC, also declined to speak out against the PAC now spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to boost his candidacy.

Earlier this week, the Maine Democratic Party held a press conference calling out this shady PAC and demanding that both Charles and Bennett call on them to stop.
