REMINDER: Susan Collins Has No Regrets About Voting for RFK Jr.

Augusta, ME – Despite his long history of questioning settled science, endorsing conspiracy theories, and undermining American public health, Susan Collins voted to confirm Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to serve as Secretary of Health and Human Services. As RFK Jr. has slashed cancer research fundinggutted health agencies that keep Americans safe and healthyeliminated Maine jobs and canceled $91 million in funding for Maine public health programs, Collins has repeatedly insisted she does not regret that vote.

Misha Linnehan, spokesperson for the Maine Democratic Party released the following statement:

“Susan Collins voted to confirm an unqualified conspiracy theorist to be our nation’s top health official, and has stood by him as he’s gutted our nation’s public health infrastructure and put Mainers’ health at risk. Mainers need a Senator who will fight to keep them healthy – that’s not Susan Collins.”
