In a WGAN radio interview, Maine GOP Executive Director Jason Savage admitted “We would really love to see this war in Iran come to a quick conclusion and have energy prices go back to where they were. We, you know, I’m acknowledging that we’re not trying to hide that.”  

Maine Democratic Party Executive Director Devon Murphy-Anderson:

“Mainers see through Bobby Charles’ desperate attempt to deflect responsibility for supporting a war that’s making gas, diesel, and heating oil more expensive. Costs will be top of mind for voters this fall and we’ll be voting for Hannah Pingree, the only gubernatorial candidate serious about making life more affordable.”
