Augusta, ME – Today, Kari Lake, an election denier and one of the strongest Trump supporters in the Administration, once again gave “tremendous credit” to Susan Collins for supporting the SAVE Act – Trump’s voter suppression legislation that could disenfranchise 300,000 Maine women.

In March of this year, Susan Collins voted in favor of the SAVE Act, which could strip voting access from more than 300,000 Maine women and make it harder for millions of Americans to register to vote and cast a ballot. At the time, a Bangor Daily News editorial blasted Collins for supporting the bill, which they said was “unnecessary” and could “suppress voter participation.”
