AUGUSTA, Maine — Today, the Maine Democratic Party unveiled a new brand identity and website, anchored in the places, people, and values that define Maine.
At the center of the new brand is a custom illustration inspired by the state itself including Mount Katahdin, inland waterways, the iconic lone pine and the nation’s first sunrise. The new Maine Democratic Party’s visual identity reflects a Maine that is tough, independent, and deeply connected to place.
More than a visual refresh, the launch represents a broader effort to make the party more accessible, useful, and connected to Mainers across all 16 counties.
“The new design and website reflects who we are as a party and the updated tools are built to help people take action — whether that’s voting, volunteering, or running for office,” said Executive Director Devon Murphy-Anderson.
The new website is designed to make it easier than ever for Mainers to vote, learn about Democratic candidates, volunteer, run for office, find their local committees, and attend an event.
The brand draws directly from Maine’s identity — its natural beauty, its working communities, and its independent spirit — and connects that identity to the work of organizing and winning elections.
The redesign also reflects a strategic investment in the infrastructure Democrats will need to compete in 2026 and beyond. With key federal, state, and local races ahead, the party is focused on expanding participation and making engagement possible from anywhere in the state.
The new brand and website are live now at mainedems.org.
