About Amanda
An Augusta resident and mother of two, Amanda Heath attended area schools, including Maranacook Community High School. She joined the U.S. Navy in 1996, serving on active duty until 2004 as a helicopter mechanic. A former Job Corps student, she later trained at the Aveda Institute and currently operates her own small business while continuing her service in the Navy Reserve. From years working as a Navy mechanic, on active duty and now in the reserves, to owning a small business and raising her two sons here in Central Maine, Amanda’s life has been about showing up, working hard, and solving problems. Right now, too many families see that our political system is broken and failing them. I’m running to be a steady, common-sense voice who will deliver real results for our communities. That means strong public schools, safe and reliable roads, and making Maine more affordable for everyone.
