2026 Maine Senate Nomination Process:

ICYMI: MDP Executive Director Calls Out Susan Collins’ Reelection Campaign

Augusta, Maine – In case you missed it, Maine Democratic Party Executive Director Devon Murphy-Anderson responded to Susan Collins’ reelection launch by calling out her decades-long record and making clear that Mainers see through it. 

The Maine Democratic Party also hosted a press call on Wednesday slamming Collins and laying out what’s at stake for Mainers in 2026. The call featured speakers from the Portland City Council, Planned Parenthood Maine, and End Citizens United.

Maine Democratic Party Executive Director Devon Murphy-Anderson: “National Republicans can spend as much money as they want in this state. There is not enough money that is going to convince us Mainers what we know to be true about Susan Collins’ record of saying one thing and doing the other. From the very beginning, when she stood in front of us and said in 1996 that she was a two-term senator, we have not been able to trust her.”
