• Despite positioning herself as a moderate in the Senate earning the ire of Donald Trump and fueling talk of a primary for 2026, Susan Collins (R-ME) was praised for being key to the Trump agenda by MAGA radio and TV hosts who are trying to get Republican voters to support her.

• On The John Fredericks Show, host John Fredericks said that his audience should be praying that Susan Collins wins, or there will be “no country” because the alternative is “communist”:

• “They’re not going to pick up Ohio, and they’re not going to beat Susan Collins. And for all you people out there who have been blasting Susan Collins on on my chat or whatever, you better be praying that Susan Collins wins, or there’s no country. That’s a tough lady. She’s in a tough state. Those who wanted to primary her, you’re nuts. We got to keep this majority in the Senate. The only person who can win Maine is Susan Collins at the end of the day, when the chips are down and you need her vote, she’s always delivered. Get over it. Let’s be adults in the room here.
