2026 Maine Senate Nomination Process

2026 Maine Senate Nomination Process:

Why Is Joseph Running?

“My Senate campaign will continue the successful grassroots movement that help push us over the finish line. Losing is not an option we can afford, our campaign will connect with Mainers at local V.F.W. halls, town halls, and places of worship.”

“By leveraging foundational experiences as a Marine Corps veteran of the Irag War, I operate on the conviction that effective leadership requires setting the standard through direct action. In the U.S. Senate I will lead from the front while also standing as the first line of defense for all people of Maine. Born and raised in the state of Maine, my mother worked as a CNA with OHI, then at BMHI, until she lost her job as a result of deinstitutionalization. As a single mother she was able to provide for our household on her paycheck alone. Today’s reality is that nearly half of all Mainers cannot afford basic survival needs like housing, food, and healthcare. The people of Maine demand and deserve affordability. Unfortunately, Susan Collins does not feel the same way. While inflation continues to soar under the Trump terror regime, Susan thinks a stagnant federal wage of $7.25 is sufficient enough, our campaign stands for realistic wages that match Maine’s actual $15.10 standard to combat rising costs. My campaign will be the embodiment of Maines motto “Dirigo”. As your nominee, I will lead us to victory this November.”
