About Nathan
Like most Mainers, Nathan has worn a lot of different hats. He worked his way through school, taking on any job he could find, whether that was construction, the janitor night shift at a hospital, or on a potato farm. He eventually followed in his mom’s footsteps, finding his life’s passion as a high school teacher. Nathan has worked hard for what he’s got, and he works just as hard to help his neighbors. Nathan taught math at Sacopee Valley High School for the last 13 years. Nate and his wife bought a home in the district. He is proud to call Hiram my home. Nathan is elected to the Hiram Conservation Committee, and a director for the Francis Small Heritage Trust, our local land trust. He is the treasurer of Porter Grange #569, and serves on the board of the Ossipee Valley Music Festival.
