Augusta, Maine – Today, the Maine Democratic Party is launching a new video slamming Susan Collins for having “no regrets” on key votes she has taken that continue to harm Mainers and people across the country. The video comes on the anniversary of Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, who was later confirmed by Susan Collins’ decisive vote.
The video highlights Collins’ long history of doubling down on pivotal votes she has taken that continue to have consequences — including confirming Kavanaugh, confirming HHS Secretary RFK Jr., and voting against impeaching Donald Trump. These votes have had consequences ranging from threats to abortion access, to undermining health and science, to the endless harm Donald Trump and the Republican Congress has had on Maine.
