WATCH: Garrett Mason Refuses to Acknowledge Trump Lost the 2020 Election

Augusta, Maine — During the final GOP televised debate, candidates were asked a simple question: Who won the 2020 election? Garrett Mason refused to acknowledge that Trump lost the 2020 election. Perhaps it’s because Mason has been back channel lobbying the White House for Trump’s endorsement?

Garrett Mason: Joe Biden was sworn in as president in 2021.

Lauryn Fanguen, spokesperson for the Maine Democratic Party, released the following statement:

“Garrett Mason is so desperate for Trump’s approval and support of his uninspired campaign that he’s afraid to name the obvious: Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. If Mason can’t call a spade a spade, how can he expect Mainers to trust him to be governor?”
