Augusta, Maine – For months Susan Collins has been hammered by everyday Mainers for failing them – from serving as a “pivotal vote” to advance the Republican budget bill, to refusing to stop DOGE cuts, to “rubber-stamp[ing]” anti-choice Trump appointed judges.

As she returns to Maine for August recess, Susan Collins still owes Mainers answers to the following questions:

• Collins’ excuse for voting to advance the toxic GOP budget bill was debunked — so why did she really cast that “pivotal vote” that greenlit Medicaid cuts?

• Does Collins regret voting to confirm Russell Vought, who is actively trying to strip away the power of the Appropriations Committee?

• Does Collins still have “no regrets” for casting her decisive vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned?

• Why did Collins drop her own amendment that could have blocked the rescissions package and protected funding for rural broadcast and radio?

• Why does Collins refuse to back legislation that would restrict her and her spouse from trading and selling stocks?

• When will Collins meet with constituents to explain her votes?

Collins has Cost Us – the least she owes Mainers is answers to why she is failing them and instead having the backs of Donald Trump and Washington Republicans.
